Cancer sucks. Kind of makes you realize a lot of the things people worry about is bullshite. Enjoy your life and don’t sweat the small stuff. You never know when this ride is going to end.

I lost one of my very close friends to Cancer on Christmas Day last year. He was 41.

I look at my life and think of the challenges, problems, and issues that are present. And I look at him and realize he is gone. He will never come back. I still have an opportunity to face my challenges and overcome my problems and issues. I may succeed or I may fail. Time will tell. But I'm here today and I still get a chance to right wrongs, apologize to the people I have hurt, and work to be a better person each and every day.

So, as bad as it can be sometimes, I am aware that it always can be worse, because it can. Appreciate the moment you have here on this earth right now and make the most of it.
