Lol what? We are talking about a convicted rapist that also has threatened unspeakable acts regarding children, also super recently beat the hell out of some guy on a plane. Also he currently and always will be a complete low IQ moron. Would you give a pass like this to someone that wasn’t a former heavy champ?

Most people side with Tyson about the plane guy. Dude was a douche and it probably happens to Tyson all the time. I'm honestly surprised he's not beating the shite out of people all the time, and being praised for it.

It's pretty dumb to keep harping on the children comment. That's his fighter persona and tactics. He obviously wouldn't eat children...

...but he may take a couple bites out of an adult. He was losing and got head-butted and primal instinct took over. Might be wacky in the ring as a professional, but a fight is a fight and it's easy to forgive him for this.

Don't say he raped a minor, she was an adult. And our justice system is the best we can do, but it's not perfect and a conviction doesn't always mean it's right. Only two people know what happened, and given the scenario it's pretty obvious what her intent was and who knows how far it got before she changed her mind.

If you want to hate him for mistreating women, hate him for Robin Givens. She probably abused him as much as he did her, though. I think he's being facetious about his "best punch ever" landing on Givens as I doubt she would have survived. Are there any photos of her beaten up or hospital records or anything? I know there are many forms of abuse and even physical abuse doesn't always leave marks, and not to condone abuse of any kind but it seems overblown.

What's his IQ got to do with being viewed favorably? And he's more knowledgeable than he sounds.

Most importantly he seems to be very open and honest about his past mistakes, and he seems to have gotten his shite straight. For having lived an extremely high profile life, and for having achieved that by acting and being extremely aggressive, and having come from where he did, he could have turned out much worse. Everyone makes mistakes, and he's made some big ones, but like everyone else he deserves credit for owning and correcting them. Everyone loves a comeback story. Everyone also loves honesty, charisma, and humor, and he's got all of that.

I'd let him babysit my kids.
