South of plaquemines? frick that

Needs to start at the end of Gardere or Bluebonnet and end somewhere behind Dow Chemical north of Plaquemine.

I wonder who owns all that farm land south of Plaquemine?

You obviously haven't read one of the 1500 other threads on this.

The Dow route was ruled out earlier for river navigational reasons. Baton Rouge threatened to kill the project if it connected with Bluebonnet. Nobody wants to dump massive amounts of traffic onto Bluebonnet with all those people trying to get to I-10.

Absolutely not, that not far enough out of BR to do what this thing is hoped to do.

Yeah, let’s just dump another 50-75k vehicles per day right into south Baton Rouge. That will fix the issue

This is the only reasonable solution - or somewhere near the ferry. But instead these morons are building a bridge in the boonies with no connections where nobody lives.

Insanity!
