I can afford repairs, but I don’t want a money pit either. Anywhere close to Lexus reliability?

Not even in the same universe, get a RX350 or 450, in 200K miles all you are probably going to pay for is oil changes.

Lexus is very reliable but I would never pay the extra for a Lexus that is really not much different than a Toyota, just get the Toyota for the same longevity. There are a whole bunch of MBs & Toyotas out there with 200K plus on them.
