"Is the movie with Matthew MacConaughey good at least?"

I like the movie version with Matthew McConaughey a lot more than the Netflix series. Better vibe.

I have watched the Netflix version of 10 episodes 3.4 times (34 episodes). I probably have watched the movie 30 times or more.

The demeanor of the cast, except for wife number two, is that of a Peanuts animated cartoon or movie. It is as if they used Lucy from Peanuts as an example for most of character portrayals.

There is too much coverage of wife number one and the case that she is pursuing. I thought that I was watching her character from the movie Lost in Space.

Someone mentioned it in another post, but Haller's voice inflection changes on occasion. When he give the speech in the bar I thought he was shifting into an Irish brogue. That is probably me projecting a bit.

Watch the movie. The only unlikable characters are the defendant, his mother and family attorney. They deserve a prison sentence that includes a visit to a Bass-O-Matic. If you know what that is.
