This. Everything needs to be taken on an individual basis and not by broad strokes. Are some vaccines good? Yes. Are some garbage? Yes. The fact that vaccines by in-large are successful, it doesn't mean that it should automatically extend to a new vaccine.

He had secretly planned to open up clinics that were going to treat autistic patients. Having a link from Autism to the MMR vaccine, as Wakefield claimed in his study, would been a goldmine for Wakefield.

It was also demonstrated that Wakefield manipulated his data.

But, I can see how that one would make you think of the Covid anti-vaxxer movement. The dis/misinformation pattern in both of those situations has been similar.
