Before mass vaccinations started...Autism was unheard of...now its like 1/10 kids have it.
it was just undiagnosed. this is silly.

The way they promoted this covid vaccine was their own worse enemy. If one couldn't see this was all about $$ then I don't see how its possible you can breathe.

I think in general, vaccines are good science. I'm glad I didn't get polio, for example. But each vaccine needs to stand on its own - and I'm not sure an experimental mRNA vaccine doesn't cause more damage than it cures.
This. Everything needs to be taken on an individual basis and not by broad strokes. Are some vaccines good? Yes. Are some garbage? Yes. The fact that vaccines by in-large are successful, it doesn't mean that it should automatically extend to a new vaccine.

The anti-vaxxers of today take their ques from their compatriots in the past-- for example, those who thought (and still think) that vaccines cause autism.
The same mental fragility is at work.

For quite some time the link between vaccines and autism has existed.
Naw. That was based on a study by Wakefield, a British doctor.
The study was discredited and withdrawn after it was revealed that Wakefield had an undisclosed conflict of interest. He had secretly planned to open up clinics that were going to treat autistic patients. Having a link from Autism to the MMR vaccine, as Wakefield claimed in his study, would been a goldmine for Wakefield.
It was also demonstrated that Wakefield manipulated his data.
But, I can see how that one would make you think of the Covid anti-vaxxer movement. The dis/misinformation pattern in both of those situations has been similar.

Where are you getting there's a link between vaccines and autism? That's not even remotely true.

Hey remember the plague that wiped out the Amish because they don't vaccinate their kids? Yeah, me neither
