Bravo, guidance was definitely weak.

So they soundly beat on the quarter, meaning your logic missed, but the lower guidance means your puts paid off nonetheless.
to being on the right side.

As of right now, my vacay to napa is paid for. Lets see if it sticks.
You'll know when the options adjust in the morning how much the IV ate you up. I got burned one time on earnings with Roku calls where they crushed earnings and were up 10% and I still lost money. What were your strikes?

155/157.5 Was looking better earlier, gonna put orders in to close at 50% max profit and hope during the opening churn they fill.

Curious to see how it works out tomorrow for you. I rode some calls up today and ran away early. Big IV crush and still think it creeps back to like $165 by open or definitely by Friday. But I’m certainly wrong a lot :D
My very non expert strategy is if I’m buying into ridiculous volatility prices I want to sell into too and not hold through earnings.

Nope, but you can mine ETH and get paid in BTC.

I think this is going to be a case where the after hours sell off is going to be the floor. I don’t think we’ll be off that much today when all is said and done. It was still a great earning report and there would be serious value if the stock price dropped much more. Probably a good entry point if you’ve been curious but hadn’t pulled the trigger.

Like I and others said, the risk vs reward wasn't there.

Luckily i changed my order before open and they went through right at open, i think stock was around 167/168. Only lost a few hundie instead of over a thousand if i had waited a few hours.

That’s a pretty brutal trade considering how things were looking after earnings were released. shite.

Glad to hear man, I understood your logic, but I think you were looking too far ahead.
