Most boats come with lights, however, moisture and electricity don't mix, so unless you stay on top of it making sure they work (along with regular maintenance), you'll find yourself on the water after dark without working lights. Many times the intent is to be back before dark, but you get to having too much fun or catching too many fish (or having mechanical problems) and end up on the water at dark.
