I'll go ahead and say out loud what any sane person is thinking about Tiger.
If his name wasn't Eldrick Woods there would be a fork in him.
He's 46 years old. He has a rebuilt left leg that was almost amputated. It is painful for him to play golf.
Has anyone else noticed that when he talks about all the therapy/treatments/ice baths etc... that he's never said "it's improving"?
There has never been a more exciting Golfer. As I'm writing this he has pulled of another ridiculous shot on the first hole of his second round. How many times did impossible became routine with this guy?
I've been a big supporter and thoroughly enjoyed watching his work for a long time. On the golf course, he was truly like no other.
I wish it wasn't so but I'm afraid we're seeing the "New Normal" for Tiger. It's a challenge for him to walk the courses and it's a struggle to make cuts.
If his name wasn't Eldrick Woods I'd say his time has come and gone.
But I really, really, really, hope there's at least 3 days of magic left for us to enjoy.

That's a whole lot of words without saying anything. What's your point? He's older and injured so people should stop pulling for him?

No. Is that really what you took from that?
