Properly done it should live just as long as the factory one did.

no. the vast majority of transmission problems are caused by bad motor mounts and transmission mounts. they never change those when they rebuild the transmissions so you're 75% likely to wind up with same problem 20k miles down the road. Acuras have had the same transmission problems for 30 years bc the freaking pos company won't upgrade the mounts. that's no accident. several companies use those same products but I can't remember off the top of my head.
