Its how Duncan Robinson gets benched for a couple no names who actually buy in on defense. They didn't go out and replace him with non shooters who played great defense. They replaced him with shooters that just happened to try more on defense.
Dallas put a team full of shooters around Luka, then figured out the defense later. There's no reason Phoenix's offense should have looked invincible vs us and pathetic vs Dallas. They don't have amazing defensive talent. They just schemed WAY better than we did.
