Ascension Parish is offering current teachers 10k more a year to go and teach in Donaldsonville because that area cannot keep teachers. Most of the people going are teachers near retirement who are looking for that extra money so their retirement can be higher.

I was discussing the ST George thing with someone who lives in St George the other day. They have kids in the magnet schools, guess what, they are against it bc their kids are in good free public schools. This whole equity in education thing they are pushing had
