Yeah, I agree with you there.

Unfortunately, there's a choice we really need to make. Do we save the ones that we can save and who are trying to succeed or do we just let the people who don't care bring everyone else down to their abysmal level?

People like Chauna want to go with option B because it's the lazy/easy way out.

That is liberalism. Liberals aren't trying to raise anyone up. They are just trying to drag everyone else down as a form of "equity".
