I overheard a guy bragging on them today saying they were the best around. True?

Played yesterday. I have no complaints but best around sounds like a stretch

the Lakes were recently punched (bout 3 weeks ago?) and they’re shaping up nicely.

The par 3 tee boxes are just sand pits though. That and it being 9 holes is the only downfall to the course.

ETA: I wouldn’t say nice around, either. Carter’s greens have been in great shape through the winter.

It was actually after my round at Carter that I heard him. I was thinking they must be real nice over there (worth a trip?) because You are right, they’re rolling real nice in Springfield these days

What’s a membership at Pelican looking like these days cost wise?

It sucks BR doesn’t have a sweet golf club. All we have are the two country clubs and BREC.

Would kill to have another Fairwood or Sherwood around town.

There’s different options. Stop in and grab a packet. Under $250 a month for full membership.
