So, here’s a good way to explain it.
It’s essentially the same issue with the perception of Catholic priests.
Let’s assume there is a legitimate issue within the LGBT community where there’s pedophilia going on. I’m going to assume that all of your concerns can be backed up with legitimate facts.
How do we handle that? It goes through the justice system. You as a parent have a right to take whatever precautions you feel you need to. As imo you should with everyone who comes in contact with your children.
And this is not directed at you, but all I’m saying is we need to be careful how we label groups of people. And this goes for all sides. Don’t let fear irrationalize your perception. That’s all.
That’s basically all I’ve been saying this entire time. It just always seems like things get lost in communication way too often. People misunderstood or get angry. It sucks.

That doesn't undo the crime and damage done to highly vulnerable and impressionable children. Children can be permanently damaged for life from molestation.
