Yea they have let the culture ruin downtown, shame.

Poor strip is now gone as well, RIP.

Downtown was shithole for years. Much better now. The proximity of downtown (and the strip back when) to some of the worst portions of Lafayette has always been a recipe for trouble. Though not on the level of troubles in BR and NOLA.
