He has to be either a liar, a lunatic, or the messiah that was prophesied hundred of years before. There's really no other options and plenty of historical facts to support or disprove each of these.

The world’s completely full of liars, lunatics, religious zealots, and people who are honestly mistaken. It’s a hell of a lot more likely that the Jesus story includes embellishment than he was the genuine Son of God.
But we all live in the Bible Belt and most of you were taught to be Christian since the cradle and have developed a psychological dependence on it and will never change even though Jesus hasn’t returned for 2,000 years.
