How much is the price for bush hogging 9 acres? Anybody got a good estimate? Also cleaned up limbs and made a big pile to burn, took about 3 hours for that. And last, graded the driveway along with moving a tree that feel on the driveway was another 2/3 hours.

It's a family member. Would you hit him that hard?

How long did it take you total, including transport of equipment?
How many hours you put on your tractor!
What size tractor you use?
How much fuel did you use?
Was it pretty level and easy going or rough as hell?
How close of a relative?

Ah well that is about the rate if you hire a stranger.
I use a 7’ bush hog and can cut about 2acres/hr. $100/hr isn’t a bad day

Not far at all, me and my dad drove there from his house. It's his sisters old place that his nephew, my 1st cousin, bought to keep peace during an inheritance issue. Other nephews, 1st cousins, were/are pieces of shite. Off of my soapbox, we used a cab Kubota tractor, I'd say no more than 12 hours max in the tractor. The tree was a pain in the arse. We will have plenty of firewood. My cousin lives in Brandon and we are in Brookhaven, Ms. He has used other folks before to handle bigger issues on the house and land and gotten the business before. My cousin ain't hurting that's for sure. Daddy is old school and wants to do it cheap as possible. He hates to see land his daddy worked his arse off for look bad. My dad, my cousin, me, and my brother are the only ones in the family that won't sale family land. Daddy is like John Dutton with the land from seeing what all his dad did to keep it. Sorry I wrote a novel.
