Looking for a public golf course in Memphis or just outside of Memphis. Any suggestions?
I usually play Beaver Creek here and looking for something similar in price and condition.

Not the best public golf scene. Mirmichi used to be a pretty strong option but has gone down hill a bit - still not a terrible option.
Tunica National which is about 25 minutes from Memphis is a decent option.
I've always had fun playing Cherokee Valley in Olive Branch as well. Not sure about its current condition.

As Drive4Show said, this isn't a great area for public golf. How far are you willing to travel from the city? Tunica has a couple of courses, Chickasaw (old Bear Trace course) re-opened a year or two ago and it was a gem but it's about an hour from Memphis. Mirimichi is in Millington and when Justin Timberlake bought it, it was great. It's been pretty mediocre recently.
Locally, the better (and I say that loosely) options are Quail Ridge, Galloway (no driving range) but usually in decent shape, Stonebridge (I think it was recently sold but decent track if it's in good shape), Cherokee Valley is probably the best option within 15-20 mins (down in Olive Branch, MS). Wedgewood and North Creek are also immediately south of the city in Mississippi and its a coin flip if they are in decent shape. North Creek is a links layout - fyi. You can get GolfNow deals on all of these courses relatively inexpensively.
One other thing to note to set expectations - it's been cold and wet all winter/early spring here. Our turf guys at Ridgeway are great and our course is still in meh shape right now. It was 39 degrees this morning. It rains 2-3x a week so courses are just needing some good, sustained heat with no rain.

I love Galloway so much. It’s not hard but it’s in good condition and fun. Great course. My home away from home.

I would also say Cherokee Valley if looking for similar quality and price point as Beaver Creek. Galloway is fun but REALLY short and crowded.
If you want a true Memphis golf experience, hit Fox Meadows or Pine Hill. Maybe Riverside, but it’s only 9 holes.
