I was quoted:
1) BRIGGS -- FORTRESS 32KW GAS / 200 AMP ATS $21,261.71
2) GILLETTE -- SP410 40KW / ATSS13R200-1-1 WITH STAB LOCK DOORS $24,126.00
I think pre-Laura/Delta these numbers would be on the high side. The demand is absurd in the last two years though. I had a friend tell me he got something in this range- maybe a 35kW and was sub 20, I want to say around $17,500 installed with a fair amount of trenching (gas/electric on opposite sides of the house) about 6m prior to the “boom” in demand.
My father in law just bought a 32kW-35kW but I’m not certain the brand. He was right around the numbers you’re showing as well.
I ordered around October, maybe early November. It got put in place two weeks ago. Let’s just say the guy installing it tells you you’ll need a bigger meter- try calling your gas company first. Mine won’t put a bigger meter until the generator is hooked up, even though they more or less said, “yeah, you’re going to need a bigger one.”
