This is what we did. Stayed 1-2 blocks off Michigan Ave and Wacker Dr. Took the red line to Wrigley (poor planning had White Sox on the road while we were there). And everything else was pretty much in walking distance. We would walk to dinner, but uber back to the hotel

thanks for the suggestions, forgot about the L trains...got it. Booked the Warwick Allerton and got tickets for a saturday day game for the cubs/braves and monday night for the sox/blue jays.

going for the Cubs, sox game is just lagniappe since we will still be in town.
