Neither completion percentage is that impressive.

I'm very impressed with Lee so far, he's playing damn well for a freshman.

But, unless I'm losing my mind, didn't you make this exact post a day or two ago? To the word? I swear this is a dupe...

There it is, found it:

Still did not the name Ma-Ti make you go, wait this doesn't belong.

The point is that despite all statistical evidence people act like MF was a masterful QB who never did anything wrong, which is far from true.

Matt Flynn as a starter. 1 year = 1NC.

Tebow as a starter=5 losses, tears, and a severe beating of the Tigers.

We can't forget that Heisman.

Well, he actually has a point here. People keep hating on the frosh but he isn't the problem.

the truth, and the rant, are not familiar with each other.

And both would like to keep it that way.

Jarrett Lee Will be ok!!!!

We all knew coming into this season that LSU would possibly struggle at the QB position when RP was dismiss from the team. If you thought otherwise then you are delusional. Jarrett Lee will be fine but the LSU nation will have to be patient remember he is just a RS Freshmen. How many QB's have step in as Freshman and have step in and dominated?

Anyone who is not sold on Lee's quarterback play this year must forget how horrendous Flynn was during his ankle injury phase last year.

Hold up....how many games has Lee started?? A little premature to compare "season" stats.

he's essentially played 3 games so far. 2 on the road, @ AU and @ UF. i think both Ds are in the top 15

exactly. And both of those road games LSU was playing from behind, which typically leads to inflated passing numbrs.

we got down plenty last year, including games like UF last year. Lee @ UF in 2008 > Flynn @ LSU v UF in 2007

and if you have to pass a lot, you're taking risks, hence the higher INT rate

It's apples and oranges at this point. Not enough data to compare Flynn and Lee. You should know this.

Lee has also not played against Tulane or Louisiana Tech.
