Yeah it's next season. Zion can't jump right into the playoffs overweight with an unstable foot injury.

*Zion saying he wants to play is likely to save face and try to diminish the "He's already checked out on N.O." rumors. Whether he wants to be in New Orleans or not other teams would be hesitant to bring on players who aren't available and aren't willing to buy in.
