Out of balance is an Orthopedist making $1 million a year vs a pediatrician in an underserved area making $120K treating mostly Medicaid kids. The Orthopedist did more residency, but they both went thru 8 years of school. I have no problem with a highly skilled physician making a lot of money, but there is a balance to it. I'm just saying the primary care docs need to make more, especially those dealing in the heavy Medicaid areas.
