My favorite vacations are the cheap ones. Drive to somewhere interesting, rent a cabin on a lake, fish/hike, cook steaks on the grill. No real plans other than that. Unfortunately my wife and teenager don't want to do that every year

I’m interested in that no doubt, but I don’t care much for driving more than 6-7 hours or so and that really limits the kind of places like that. And in the summer those few places that aren’t too far away don’t do it for me.
