i'm a single guy and i cant do a long weekend without spending less than $1,000

I’m a single guy going to LV next weekend(Fri-Mon). So far I’m out about $1500 for flight/hotel*/One show. I still have to eat, occupy my time for two other days, and get around.

*It’s NFL Draft weekend, so hotels aren’t very cheap. Had to settle for Harrah’s for what I would normally pay for a step or two up. Could have saved a couple hundred had I realized that before I booked. A

I spent 3 grand last year to fly 4 of us to Denver then drive thru Utah for a week to see many parks, the Canyon, etc

Everyone gets fixated on the beach and that’s one big rip joint .

It takes proper planning and some homework but you can make a trip a lot more affordable.

Where Vegas gets you is the food. The SO easily spent $1,000 in food only on a 4 day work conference trip. But he said it was absolutely amazing and doesn’t regret it at this point.
