Public shaming is an effective deterrent for many.
STOP cuddling the criminally accused.
Probable cause, although not the highest burden, still suggest that the probabilities that the accused committed the crime are significant enough to allow the photos without reckless defamation.

I think a large portion of this thread is not aware that this does not apply once someone has been convicted
