I don't really blame SF for being hesitant to pay him. I somewhat lean towards last year was the perfect storm for him and could end up being his best year as a pro.

Someone on ESPN this morning said San Fran is willing to work on an extension, but Samuel isn’t negotiating at the moment. Now that may have changed since this morning.

Supposedly they haven't been hesitant to pay him.

He doesn't want to play running back anymore.
