Watching the "A Season in the USFL" pregame documentary now. You get a better understanding of the cost savings having all the games played in one city. They basically turned the hotel complexes around the stadium into offices, meeting rooms, work out facilities, living facilities, etc. It makes pretty good financial sense for the first year.
Looks like checking my weather app that it is raining there now. It is supposed to clear up about 30 minutes after kick-off. Hopefully a crowd shows up anyway.
