Indeed.
So on reflection, if a perp thought he'd get shot in the neck, he'd never do the crime to start with. Right?

Unfortunately, it takes a few neck shots for that sort of preclusive premonition to take hold in the wider population. But when it does, it's a message that can save lives. That's my reflection.
