So we made a resv at Foreign Cinema, looks like a cool place. I'm hoping the food will live up to the atmosphere. We'll definitely check out Toronado after/berfore. We're looking at another night, and the other two restaurants that piqued my interest were Coqueta and Nopa. Wondering if you have strong feelings one way or another on that. I'm leaning Coqueta but could be sold on Nopa. I have a weird pet peeve of nice restaurants having booth seating, which Nopa does, but I can definitely look past that if needed.

If you're already planning on going to Lower Haight and hanging at Toronado for beers, I'd lean Coqueta. Plus, you can grab oysters at Hog Island before dinner - it's ~5 minute walk.

Also, to give you a sense, Toronado is no-frills. Fun atmosphere, but it's not the prettiest place. Hell of a draft list on the wall, though. Make sure to check out their bottle list (paper menu that you need to ask for), too.
