On first watch I’d put it behind BB and TDK. Have a feeling it will grow on me after a rewatch.

As Reeves said, this is not a Batman origin story. It’s a Batman villain origin story. Which is smart if you want to expand the universe. Batman is in this crazy world trying to keep it together. It’s not really about him.
Personal opinion of the movie aside, it’s been well received and has future potential. So I’m excited.
