Don't you have a running count of Herb's toe on the line 2s? Is that what the 35/37 number was? Because if he had 35 more 3s made that would make him a very good 3 point shooter.
Actually the 35 "foot faults" Herb has this year would only be beneficial for him from the point of view of increasing his overall % of shots taken being 3-pt shots. Would "move" him from 29%, which is way too low, to about 36%, which is about where you would want him to be. So, Herb doesn't really have a 3-pt "uasage" problem.
Amazingly, Herb is also shooting his 35 "foot faults" at VERY close to 34/35%. About the same as his "real" 3-pt shot %. The only good thing about the "35" is that it helps eliminate the "low sample size" factor that some may have with Herb's 3-pt #s.
I kept thinking they might work to eliminate Herb's "foot" problem. About 20% of his 3s were actually LONG 2s. The worse shot in basketball. But, I think they didn't want to mess with Herb's shot mid-way through the season, just let him hit his 34/35% and work out the "foot" problem, after the season is over. Along with some other of Herb's offensive problems.

Isn't a foot fault non three a peripheral vision problem and not shot technique based?
