In a free society law enforcement investigates crimes with the goal of finding the perpetrators.
In a totalitarian society law enforcement investigates people with the goal of eventually finding a crime.

First, let me say I think it's all a BS witchhunt.
But, if you read the article, the 2 prosecutors quit because the DA said privately he had doubts about indicting Trump. Your post reads like they they disagreed with the investigation. The 2 fully agree and want to charge Trump with felonies.
