There are up and downsides to this form of entertainment just as there are to others. At the least, you may be able to use this as a tool to teach time management and moderation, both which will serve your children well during their life.

It’s a form of play. Why do you feel the need to manage this in an all or nothing manner? That’s not realistic for life.
