I worked at Bonanza when I was a sophomore in HS... I went from dishwasher to cooking steaks in a month...

You could get that dinner for like 4 bucks... and don't forget the Texas Toast...

I don't remember which cheap steak house it was but just as looked up I saw a guy drinking straight out of a bottle of Worcestershire... Never went back to any of them.

I can recall going to the Houma location in the late 80’s when I was a young lad and seeing a large roach crawling on the menu board. A few weeks later the place was shut down and never reopened.

The last one I knew of was at exit 20 in Sulphur. I used to stop at it on the BR to Houston trip every time. Both my cholesterol and spirts nose dived when they closed.
