Where in that 'offer' did it say anything about money?
That 'offer' could have been a starting job as a freshman, that he couldn't get at any other comparable school. Prove that that couldn't have been the 'offer'.
Woody caved, and I would be interested to know how the dynamic between him and his FIL played into this farce. I have a feeling it was much more than we know.

The strong arse offer was an offer to Smart's high school coach for an assistant coaching job on the LSU staff.
