Just think, back in the olden days they had a pointy stick and/or a rock. If neither of those could work, throw the little ones and the ones with bumps on chest (women and children) to the beast to satisfy it.

Women and children don't know how to protect themselves.
I hope that a Bear rips your arm out one day and drags it into a den to rot for 2 months until it emulsfies. That is on you.
