Yeah Robinson was better before him and Muschamp is better after him. Chizik sucked at Texas. He was pretty good at Auburn, though.

I would hate if we hired Chizik.

We need to hire Pitt's D coord. from last year. I'm not sure where he is. We should've hired him for this year.

Robinson was good. He had the help of one incredibly badass linebacker named Derrick Johnson, though.

3 piss poor defensive performances coupled with one of the worst 3 or 4 defenses in the league will do that.

Pitt had a top 10 D under him and he completely shut down any team with a spread offense.

Not because he knew how to stop the spread or that's his specialty...........but b/c he brought the fricking house and blitzed many times no matter who they played. Not to mention, from watching some of their games at least their blitzes were disguised.

Teh last time LSU seen a disguised or even creative blitz, Nick Saban was in charge.

We need a complex D, but we also need one that the players can learn after only 1 year in the system. we don't need a D where only Jrs adn Srs can contribute.

However, as it stands now adn over the last couple of years with Pelini, our D is very simple read and react. I haven't seen a disguised blitz at lsu since 2003-2004.
