Sketchy as hell and the owners act like you are privileged to eat their pizza but it’s a “Baton Rouge institution”

A buddy and I ate there once a few years ago (pre-COVID) and had some beers. We were on our third round washing down a large pepperoni apiece and were laughing about something - which old friends tend to do, right? The waitress came over and kind of looked at us pointedly for a few seconds and said "No more beers, I think y'all have had enough." Super weird - neither of us were close to drunk, considering the massive pile of delicious yeasty dough in our stomachs, and those were our last beers anyway (long live the tiny glasses!) but since when does laughing heartily get you cut off?

So yeah, the management and staff can be pretty off-putting...but dat pizza doe. I've never found pizza anywhere else that tastes quite like it.

Take a can of Pilsbury Biscuits, toss it in a dumpster, eat it after it explodes.
