Who's to blame: personnel or philosophy?

both but you have to put more blame on the philosophy.

the philosophy can change and should but so far it hasn't

as far as personnel goes im not sure what the problem is esp with the dline. either they were overrated coming in or they let all the press get to them bc they haven't lived up to the name best line in the country

The personnel on the sidelines...not on the field.

philosophy and logistics. The plan is a mess. I don't even pretend to know what the philosopy is. Players in the wrong place, bad personnel matchups and poor technique. Looks like the kids were brainwashed over the summer and taught poor technique instead.

I would throw leadership in there as well. No intensity and a general malaise. Seems to be an easy target, but Less needs to throw some serious coinage at a DC.

I don't understand why McCray, a safety, is playing nickel back while we bring in a true freshman to play safety. Chad Jones and Patrick Peterson also need to see the field as much as possible.

Why CJ or PP weren't covering Harvin i haven't a clue. CJ has better speed than McCray, is more physical. No idea why he is on the bench so much. But even when they played, both looked lost. And I am not blaming the players.

+1 I was especially disappointed in Beckwith. His body language was not representative of a leader that believed we could step up

he looked lost in coverage. I had him pegged as the leader on D this year.

Maybe so, but the defensive line underperforming is very surprising.

easily philosophy

defensive lines need to have lbs blitzing behind them once a century to be effective.

you arent going to excel going 4 on 6 or 7 every play

and mccray should not be starting, sorry

it is surprising for sure

but they're not helped when they're told not to try to get upfield

it's almost like bo p and his disciples hate the idea of pressure

maybe Les was afraind if Tebow was injured the RJF comment could lead back to him.

Yeah, the rush techique was piss poor. No spin moves, stunts. Nada.

thats because we have been a stop the run first team for a while... except florida was running outside the tackles and we apparently had no clue how to defend it
