Schools aren’t going to cancel this time due to the expected timing and storm fatigue

Yeah, I doubt there are any cancellations over this one. North LA maybe, but not south.

Schools in my parish should not have been cancelled last week

Back in my day we had to walk through snow, and a tornado all on the same day to get to school in North Baton Rouge in April.
Then at school the power went out no problem.
They gave us a candle and told us to hold it up so our teacher would light it. Our teacher lit every candle in the class, while never taking the virgin slim cigarette out of her mouth with her BIC lighter.
They also made us walk home in a pouring rain with no shoes.
Kids today have it made.
