Les Miles > Nick Saban

Let me start by saying that I too am upset with what happened last night. Florida owned LSU in a big way. But let me also present some information for those who are pining for the days of Nick Saban. Here are some games LSU won and lost under the Quitmeister.
2000
Alabama-Birmingham. Lost at Home 10-13. Nicky blamed it on Josh Booty.
2001
Ole Miss. Lost at Home 24-35.
2002
Virginia Tech. Lost at Blacksburg 8-26. Beamer owned Little Nicky.
Kentucky. Won at Lexington 33-30. One of the luckiest plays in the history of college football.
Alabama. Lost at Home 0-31. Francione bitch slapped Saban after the game.
Arkansas. Lost at Little Rock 20-21. Idiotic prevent defense. Pigs went 80 yards with something like one minute left in the game.
2003
Florida. Lost at Home 7-19. Ron Zook outcoached Little Nicky.
2004
Oregon State. Won at Home 22-21 (OT). Beaver kicker missed three field goals and bounced two off the upright.
Auburn. Lost at Auburn 9-10. Marcus Randle led the Tigers to a touchdown of their first possession. Then Little Nicky and Dumbo Fisher replaced him with Russell who didn't do jack. Auburn missed a field goal, but got another chance and made it after a penalty. Little Nicky (a member of the NCAA Rules Committee) complained that the penalty, although committed, should not have been called because it cost LSU the game.
Georgia. Lost at Athens 16-45. What more can be said.
Troy. Won at Home 24-20. Tigers mounted one last drive and scored a touchdown with less than one minute remaining.
Iowa. Lost at the Cap One Bowl 25-30. Nicky had been busy picking out his Miami Dolphins wallpaper the week before and did not have the team ready to play.
Why can't all you people who are down on Les for losing ONE game that the Tigers should have won step back and take a deep breath? Do you really believe that the loss bothers anyone more than our head coach? If so then I would disagree with you. Of course I like what Little Nicky did in winning the BCSNCG, but he also lost several game that he should have won, and won some that he should have lost. It happens - get over it.

Les has a great record. I think he is a top five coach. It still doesn't change the fact that the defense is derailed this year and in order to keep elite status as a coach he has to make changes. Time will tell.

Did we ever get shut out as long as Miles has been around? IMO nothing is worse than getting shut out and well bama beat us 31-0 under Saban.

Did you really expect alot of folks on this Board not to think the sky is falling...after the loss, my first thought was to the 31-0 drubbing at the
hands of Bama. Pathetic! How blind must one be to think that LSU with no experience at QB, a new set of DBs for the most part & replacing several All American-type players would challenge for the MNC this year or go unscathed thru the SEC...we all knew or should have known that this is a year to rebuild and re-group & if done quickly, we might challenge for the SEC crown.

Dude, I know we got into it earlier, but please don't ever say that again. She is the biggest Saban asskisser on the rant, I am nothing like that.

He lied and quit at LSU. He lied and quit at Miami. Are you truly too stupid to understand that?

Have we ever beat an average to above average SEC team by more than one score with Miles? They're pretty similar, we just had a few more bounces go our way with Miles.

If you go back and look at most of her posts, it has something to do with Saban and the fact that Alabama is the greatest team in the country and they will crush LSU. She accused me of being a homer because I said LSU would beat bama.
