Where you seeing all these boat rentals at?

I rent one every time I go to the beach. I realize we are not at the beach but I would imagine there would be such a service. If nothing else get a fishing guide to take you around once per month. By the time you factor in cost of boat, insurance, storage, fuel, other maintenance you may still come out ahead. Not to mention the no headache factor.

At once a month that's north of $15k/yr. Over the course of 5 yrs that's $75k. I imagine owning and maintaining a boat that you can keep at your house is less. Plus what happens if you have a weather cancellation on your scheduled charter day? What happens if you want to go two or three days in one month?

I did buy a 2002 war eagle 16ft aluminum boat, camo, 40 hp Yamaha with a steering console and new trolling motor for 5500 from someone on this board.

I remember that thread! I like that boat!
