Owned a 18’ Xpress center console to do just that. Highly recommend you seek an older xpress with a Yamaha. Probably the best boat I’ve owned. Aside from being light as opposed to glass…windy conditions require a great trolling motor and batteries…No complaints! Salt and freshwater for years! Aside from letting gas gum up the carbs (disassembles/cleans easily) Rock Solid in the basin or in Cocodrie, it was a meat wagon!
