I don't want to hear anyone talk about how great our defense is the rest of the season. Can you say "exposed?"

Florida should have hung 70 on us. We were lucky to get out of there with a 30pt loss. No, RJF would not have changed the game. And no, I don't think this was a fluke. We gave 24pts to State two weeks ago. And this was coming off a bye for God's sake! We can turn things around - yes. But now to SC, then GA and ALA?!? - things are going to get ugly fast if don't make some changes.

Hoping we can get thru those three, plus Ole Miss with at least one win.

poor tackling, confused, lack of an aggressive scheme. This could look like 1998 with respect to our tepper style defense.

Well said...the TRUTH hurts!
We have a young QB who is learning, a defensive front four who are very overrated, and we can't match up in coverage under current scheme. Recipe for arse-whippings in the SEC

The win won't come from any SEC school. We might beat Troy and Tulane. Breakout the sparkly glove and brush up on your break dancing skills cause the LSU football program is going backto the 80's!!!Book it unless we get a defense!!!

Mid 80's are OK. I see the 90's and swear Lou Tepper is being channeled thru the bodies of the present staff.

to balance this with a little optimism...I do think our guys have the talent to be exceptional. Eugene, CJ and Peterson - these guys are young. Maybe all they needed was 51 kicks in the balls.

Was Gerry DeNardo in the Gainsville area last night between 6:45pm and 11:00pm?

Agree 100%. We shouldn't sugarcoat this loss, and say it was one game. If Woody McCorvey (MS STATE'S OC) had FL's talent, he would have hung 70 on us as well. And he sucks as a OC. LSU should not be a learn on-the-job type DC position. These guys are not ready to be DCs.
