I may be cashing out after this past weekend

I've gotten bad about making large (for me) "frick it" bets when I lose that rarely ever pan out. For instance - Texas ML last night, and I hate rooting for Texas

May just download an app I haven't used yet like BetMGM or something and use the free bets for the rest of March Madness until football season

Live ML bets on teams like Purdue or zona that let a lesser opponent hang around too long can be of serious value. Obviously it’s not a guarantee (thanks auburn) but I did very well with that over the weekend. Zona made me sweat bullets though but it eventually cashed.

I did last night, to the tune of about $1400. And it felt good. The last 10 days have been brutal and I didn't want to be another sucker who blew through all of his winnings and give back all of the free bets/matched bets/bonus cash that all of the apps had given me.

At my peak, I was up about $2400 from when this all went live. That had dwindled to about $1700 after yesterday's massacre, so that was my "enough is enough" moment.

It is just like going to the casino. You never leave at your highest profit point--you have to keep playing to see how long the hot streak continues, then eventually lose some of it back. The casino (or in this case the betting apps) count on you to give all of that profit back. I refuse to do that. The money I cashed out is going to my summer travel fund.

But I will definitely be back for football season. I don't see me wanting to get into the summer months trying to figure out how to bet baseball and WNBA games
