I don’t think it’s ok to directly pay a player outside of NIL. I could certainly be wrong.

The entire NCAA process has for years been such bullshite because there’s never been a standard. Punishment handed out to one school vs another is so inconsistent. Schools have been punished harsher than another school with more egregious violations. It’s insane.

I seems after NIL was put into place that the NCAA should have cleared its slate of any investigation involving a player receiving benefits. Millions have been made by schools, coaches, television networks, etc. for years off the backs of kids. Greed at its finest.
