re: Paying your kids for good grades

Good grades, just like doing chores, were expected. Nobody got paid for that. "Some things you're just supposed to do because it's the right thing to do, not just to get paid." was what I was told.

Not doing chores and getting bad grades was where the pay came in. And I was the one paying for it.
