Dude he’s lost 3 games. One during horrible conditions on a damn turf field. He’s a solid coach. People forget bc of their amazing freshman years, but a lot of our team is still young. extremely tAltented, but young. Young teams will have occasional bad games. He lost the second game to the #1 team in the nation. The Baylor loss was the worse loss but like I said, every team has that kind of game, especially in baseball.

Sounds like excuses but we'll wait and see. The team certainly hasn't started the season in great fashion against the three decent teams it has faced.

I’m not sure what more you could want from them at this point. I mean it sounds like you just have unreasonable and unrealistic expectations and ideas of what is considered “successful”… baseball is way different than football and even basketball. It’s a game where you can see crazy things and never can really predict what a team’s true capabilities are, especially using such a small sample size. The 2019 Fall Classic champs, Nationals, started the year 31 - 50.
The reason baseball is played in a series type of format is for these exact reasons, bc determining who is the better team can’t be accurately decided off of only one head to head matchup.

Anyone that wants to try and use the “but then why does the MLB have the one game wild card” argument, is an example of average fan who doesn’t follow baseball to hard. Bud Selig implemented the one game WC for a couple reasons. To place more importance on the regular season grind, and bc the excitement and “thrill” of a do or die game generates better viewer ratings and more fans. All equaling more money being made, while also possibly growing the game of baseball. The MLB cares more about those reasons way more than it cares about who is truly the better team.

Holy crap I knew most fans were impatient and stupid but this is next level prime example of telling us you know nothing about baseball without tell us
